‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re all set for some more fun and games in Fairmont Crest!
Okay, not everything in the episode for Tuesday, September 23 will be fun and games, but it’s going to be interesting.
Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) has been hiding his improvement in his leg for reasons we can only guess at. It could be insecurity and fear of losing Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob), or maybe he wants to surprise her.
Either way, it looks like Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges)’s detective skills will spot something is up. We expect he’ll share with Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit), but will he remain quiet elsewhere?
Meanwhile, Doug McBride (Jason Graham) will inch closer to his judgement day.
Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) will discuss how to get rid of him.
It’s not going to be pretty and Doug brought this on himself, but we’re going to miss him.
It’s not too late for him to get out of town, but he’d have to be self aware enough to know he’s in danger to do that.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how Derek and Ashley keep trying to be together despite the obstacles they create.
The latest one is on Derek since he’s chosen to remain quiet about having feeling in his leg. Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) busted him but has kept quiet, and now it’s Jacob’s turn.
Jacob is Derek’s best friend and we expect he’ll notice something is different and his police mind will take over and figure it out.
Derek will try to swear him to secrecy, but we expect Jacob will try to talk some sense into Derek. He’ll point out how important it is he trust Ashley and tell her about having feeling in his leg.
Derek will be on the fence, but if anyone can convince him to open up it’s Jacob.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Tuesday, September 23: Sending Doug away
It was only a matter of time until Joey made his move on Doug, and it’s almost here.
He and Marcel will put their heads together and come up with a way to eliminate the threat and keep Joey’s hands clean.
It’ll involve getting out of town with a witness, which will be Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). We’re curious why she’ll sgree to go on vacation with Joey to Puerto Rico, but she will.
And while they’re gone, Marcel will take care of Doug.
Vanessa will know Joey had something to do with it after she was his previous alibi in public, but that will be a story for another day.
