The episode for Friday, June 20 looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we’re going to get into the nitty gritty of relationships.
Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) has shown some serious guts in confronting and making demands of Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).

She’s going to press her advantage more as she seeks to finalize their deal and make sure Doug McBride (Jason Graham) is off the hook for his debt.
Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) has been trying to win back Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix)’s heart, but it’s an uphill struggle.
The fact Nicole feels even more betrayed thanks to Dani Dupree (Karla Mosely)’s announcement. Because of that, we have a feeling she’ll be looking to end things.
We hope Ted’s prepared for things to go sideways because we expect Nicole will want a divorce.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have enjoyed watching Vanessa turn into such an awesome protector. So many times, daytime writes strong women as anything but, choosing to have men rescue them.
This was a nice change as she confronted Joey with her demands and stood firm. Now, we think she’s going to lean into Joey to ensure the terms of their deal are met.
Her main priority is getting Doug out of debt, but also keeping Joey honest. He’s got a reputation on the level of a gangster, and she’ll want to make sure he doesn’t retaliate.
She’s walking a dangerous line, and Doug isn’t helping by trying to step in to protect her. This is going to be fun seeing how it all plays out.
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Friday, June 20: The end of the line
There are a few ways this scene can go, including Nicole partially forgiving Ted and wanting to see if there’s something they can salvage.
That’s the feel good way this could go and we can see that after seeing other couples break up.
But we have a feeling Nicole will want to go another way. They are technically separated now, and that’s why we could see her wanting to work together to move forward.
The feeling we get is she’s just feeling too hurt and betrayed for anything but severing ties.
There’s just too much going on, and we think she needs to take a firm step forward to start healing.
