British Royal Family News find that Beyonce and Serena Williams have praised Meghan Markle in light of her tell-all interview in which she revealed many home truths about the Royal family.
British Royal Family News: Beyonce And Serena Williams Praise Meghan Markle
In a statement on her website, Beyonce praised Meghan for showing so much courage despite the media barrage that has come her way. She posted a picture of the two, and it was captured with the following comments: “Thank you, Meghan, for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”
This is not the first time that Beyonce has praised Meghan. The two initially met during the 2019 Brit Awards. And given that the two have been so outspoken and supportive of female rights, they naturally gravitated towards each other. In a previous post on Instagram, Beyonce congratulated Meghan for her work, and of course, the birth of her son Archie.
She said: “In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.” It is not just Beyonce who has backed Meghan, but also tennis superstar Serena Williams. The two have a long-standing friendship and have been in each other’s company on numerous occasions.
In an Instagram story, Serena praised Meghan: “Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life — and leads by example — with empathy and compassion. She teaches me every day what it means to be truly noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced.” Added to that, the two have equally experienced mistreatment in the face of intense media scrutiny.
Serena, for her part, went through a difficult period in the Australian Open in which she was accused of breaking the rules and receiving coaching on court. Meghan’s ordeals have clearly struck a chord with Serena. She continued: “I know firsthand the sexism and racism institutions and the media use to vilify women and people of colour to minimize us, to break us down and demonize us. I am so proud of you for being so brave. I know it is never easy.”
