Well, at least he got this one right. Even though he’s been spending a lot of time with his ex Jennifer Lopez lately, it looks like Ben Affleck still knows to do the right thing and wish his other ex, Jennifer Garner, a very special Mother’s Day.
In fact, the Hollywood actor shared a special and touching tribute to the mother of his three children. Here’s what you need to know.
It’s not very often that Ben shares any photos of Jennifer Garner or even talks about her for that matter, but he did share some throwback photos of Jen with their kids on his Instagram account for Mother’s Day.

The actor wrote, “So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother’s Day.Love, their Dad.”
Ben and Jen have three children — Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and 9-year-old Samuel. And while the exes are doing a good job of co-parenting together, Jen has made it pretty clear that she has no intentions of ever getting married again.
“I’m so far from [getting married again,]” she told People Magazine. “And I don’t know that marriage would need to be a part … I mean I definitely don’t think that I’ll be single forever.”
Jennifer also said that while she’s enjoyed all of the quarantine time with her kids, she can’t wait to get back to work again.
“I love being home with [my kids], and I’ve been so lucky to have the flexibility to be home a lot,” she said. “But I miss the days of going on location and will be excited to just be like, ‘Yeah, you want me in North Carolina? You want me in Budapest? You want me in Paris? Yes! I can do all those things.’ I feel like I’ll zip around a little.”
