The duo’s love life has come full circle after the pair were initially engaged in 2004 before they called things off. But now that they have managed to work things out, there has been the obvious question of whether or not they would be walking down the aisle.
While that may be in the back of their minds, the very fact of the matter is that they want to take things at their own pace. A source said: “[The pair are] not talking about a wedding.” Given the break-up they had the first time round, this approach is entirely understandable.
And this was reflected in the manner in which they had gotten engaged. Reports stressed that they wanted to keep a lid on things prior to announcing it to the public. However, this plan had been disrupted when Jennifer was pictured wearing a ring prior to the couple’s announcement.
This immediately fuelled speculation that the pair were engaged after which the news was confirmed. And with so much media scrutiny surrounding their relationship, the couple are just focused on making sure that they enjoy the moments they have.
The source stated: “[Jennifer] loves her ring. [She] can’t stop looking at it. “It’s very cute to see how excited she is. Ben makes her incredibly happy.” The reaction from the fans on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people agreed that the couple needed to take their time.
Meanwhile, others were of the view that they did not see the relationship lasting. One person wrote: “I give it less than a year before they divorce.” As long as the pair are happy, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
