Thomas Jacobs was eventually brushed to the side by Serena Pitt, but that did not stop him from continuing to praise her in the aftermath.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Thomas Jacobs Has A Soft Spot For Serena Pitt-‘You’re A Gem’
The duo came across each other during the current Bachelor in Paradise season. Thomas, for his part, arrived on the show and immediately asked Serena on a date. The latter had already been getting close to Joe Amabile, but let Thomas know that she was keeping tabs on all the men.
While Serena and Joe would go on to kiss, she informed Thomas that he was better off pursuing the other women given his prior history. After all, Joe was accused of only going on The Bachelorette during Katie Thurston’s season to simply increase his profile by hopefully then becoming a lead on The Bachelor.
He was subsequently sent home by Katie, and it seems those prior actions have cost him a chance with Serena. And yet, he had nothing but praise for her. In a post to his fans on Instagram, he said: “You’re a gem. Please ask @JoeAmabile1 not to have my legs broken.”
Things have not been helped by the fact that Katie has also been speaking out about Thomas. It is clear that she is not his biggest fan, and that has clearly swayed Serena’s opinion. And she has made no secret over her contempt for him.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Katie could not help but shade Thomas by summing his finest quality in the following words: “He looks good with the facial hair, I’ll give him that.” Not to worry, though, Thomas expected this as being part of the territory.
In an interview on the ‘Click Bait’ podcast, he stated: “I forgot all of what Paradise is about, and it is a wild ride, and this season is insane. It really is… It almost was, like, every day got more and more intense.”
There is plenty of time for Joe to find someone to settle down with, but the challenge has been made a whole lot harder by his prior conduct. We will have to see how things play out.
