Kendall Long has stated how she could not cope seeing her ex-lover Joe Amabile make a potential appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.

The duo hooked up together in 2018, after coming across each other, on the show’s fifth season. Their relationship would blossom, as they moved in together a year later. But just when things seemed to be going well, they broke things off at the beginning of last year. Those feelings, however, have not disappeared.
During an interview on the Almost Famous podcast, Kendall spoke on how she would find it hard to watch Joe on the show. She said: “It would be so hard. I would not want to watch him fall in love with someone else. That would suck so much.” Nevertheless, they continue to remain in touch with each other as friends. Although Joe may be considering a return to the franchise, would Kendall be open to doing the same?
As of now, she has ruled out the possibility. She has not quite gotten over her affection for him. She added: “I still have a tremendous amount of love for him…I would just be signing up for another heartbreak. I’m not sure.” Kendall, though, has no regrets about her time with Joe. She had learnt for the first time, what a long-term commitment looked like.
She was very open about how she viewed Joe as a potential partner for marriage. And that benchmark served as an example for any other man in the future. She continued: “That was the relationship. I just threw so much trust in, and right off the bat…I think every single person that I date, I’m looking for that next level of connection.”
So has anyone been able to match Joe? Currently, Kendall has not found anyone in the same vein. That has not stopped her from trying, though. She noted: “Dating in L.A., in general, is difficult,” she said. “I’ve had some good dates. We’ll see.” Let us hope that Kendall can find someone to finally settle down with. We wish her the very best with those efforts.
