Astrid Loch has given her fans an insight into what her life has been like during her IVF journey.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Astrid Loch Opens Up On Her IVF Journey
Astrid has been very vocal about her fertility issues ever since she hooked up with Kevin Wandt during the 5th season of Bachelor in Paradise. And following their engagement, the attention turned to having a family. And yet, after several failed attempts, the couple resorted to getting IVF treatment. Low and behold, it turned out to be a success as Astrid announced her pregnancy.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a scientific video of the IVF process. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Since announcing our pregnancy, I’ve been flooded with messages from all of you sharing your own infertility ups and downs, and it just didn’t feel right not to share more of our story.” Astrid is all too aware of what it is like to undergo such invasive procedures.
She is, after all, a former manager of a plastic surgery practice. Having said all that, she was not alone in experiencing the journey. Her fiance Kevin was very vocal about discovering what women had to go through during IVF. This was visible in the following picture. In the image here, we can see Kevin administering an injection into Astrid’s ass as part of the IVF procedure.
While Astrid seems amused by it all, Kevin is trying his best not to do anything wrong. And this was part of a broader attempt to show people they do not have to be alone in this journey. She added: “Our community is SO MUCH LARGER than I could have ever imagined, and my hope is that by sharing more, I can help someone else feel less alone.”
The couple are not out of the woods yet, as the birth still has to go ahead. But what we do know is that the couple have done everything in their power to make sure that everything is okay. Time will tell how it all turns out, but the fans will be there to support the couple every step of the way. And we wish the duo the best with their journey.
