Ashley Slack Opens Up On Her Prior Pregnancy Heartache
Ashley, for her part, had been blessed by the news that she was pregnant following a positive test. That excitement equally spread to her husband, Jason Wahler. But before the couple could get ready to think about their new future together, tragedy struck. It turns out that Ashley was not pregnant, and after going to the hospital, it transpired that Ashley had a molar pregnancy.
Therefore, there was no baby- but there was a prospect of Ashley having cancer. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Ashley looked back at the whole incident. She said: “I remember hearing my doctor tell me I didn’t have a fetus. I had a molar pregnancy.
“I needed surgery within a few days to make sure it was not cancer. I felt so alone.” Things were made even worse due to the pandemic restrictions. Jason was not allowed to enter the hospital in order to be by Ashley’s side. That put an extra burden on Ashley, who feared that she may never be able to have kids, in addition to the horror of the doctors potentially discovering a cancerous tumour.
She added: “I didn’t understand what this was and why I had to have surgery so quickly. First no baby, now maybe cancer?! My whole world came crashing down.” While it was a struggle, things did get better in the end. There was no cancer found, and Ashley began to make another go at having a baby. The results were fruitful, as she announced that she was pregnant, and this time it was for real.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Ashley shared a picture of herself naked as she is touching her baby bump. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I have never been more excited to see this little boy and hold him in my arms for the first time. I have to say my favorite part about being pregnant isn’t the pregnancy itself but the delivery.”
