Armie Hammer was charged for traffic violations shortly after his divorce from Elizabeth Chambers according to reports.

The couple had announced that they were splitting up last year. A source at the time went on to say: “The decision to separate was not one that they made lightly. They didn’t wake up one day and suddenly decide. Right now, their biggest concern is their children and how this change will impact them.”
This had an impact on Armie as he was stopped by the Arizona Colorado River Indian Tribes Police Department for road offences. It was alleged that Armie made a wrong right turn and failed to display his license plate. The star pleaded guilty and was fined before having his drivers’ license suspended.
And as a whole, the last few years have been problematic for Armie. This year, he was in the spotlight after many women alleged the actor had sent sexual messages about cannibalism. As pictures of the messages circulated on social media, Armie had no option but to apologize. When speaking to Cayman Compass, he went on to say:
“I am genuinely sorry for any confusion my foolish attempt at humour may have caused. My deep sympathies to Miss Cayman [Mariah Tibbetts], who I don’t know, and to the entire organization as I had no intentions of implying she was actually Miss Cayman.”
And insiders went on to reveal that even Elizabeth was shocked by it all: “Elizabeth was horrified and shocked. [She] doesn’t even recognize the man she married anymore.” The scandals have also not helped Armie and his work life. The actor recently pulled himself out of the film, Shotgun Wedding in order to take a break from the heightened scrutiny he was receiving.
A spokesperson for the film said: “Given the imminent start date of Shotgun Wedding, Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision.”And he did himself no favours when he responded by saying: “I’m not responding to these bulls—t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me.
“I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this, and I’m grateful to them for that.” But with an apology now out in the open, things can only get better.
