Armie Hammer has allegedly finished his nine-month stint at a rehabilitation centre in response to the rape allegations that had been surfacing.
Armie Hammer Has Reportedly Left Rehab After Nine Months
The actor came under fire when many of his ex-girlfriends decided to come out and accuse him of engaging in abuse.
This was based on the grounds of apparent messages leaked on social media which included comments surrounding cannibalism, as well as rape.
However, following an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, more time is needed as to whether or not it is possible to hold Armie to account.
That is why, in the meantime, the actor is focused on making sure that he is in the best possible position to fight any charges that may come his way.
A source said: “Armie is out of the treatment facility where he spent almost 9 months. [He] ‘is doing really well and it’s wonderful news for his family. [He is] back in the Cayman Islands.”
This is welcome news for Armie for the following reasons. First of all, he will have the benefit of being able to spend the Christmas holidays with his family and make sure that he is in the right frame of mind.
Secondly, it will also bring a close to the end of 2021, which has by all accounts been a disastrous year for the actor. Not only has he been dogged by these allegations, but his acting career has also suffered as a result.
He infamously dropped out from his role in ‘Shotgun Wedding’ when the allegations first came to light. At the time, there were serious suggestions that the actor could end up getting cancelled.
Although that is still a possibility, the fact that he has finished his time in rehab suggests that he is in a much better place to deal with such a thing. Furthermore, the star now has a chance to focus on finalising his divorce from his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers.
In this way, he can draw a line in the sand and look forward to starting things afresh provided that the investigation being conducted into him does not lead to any charges being brought.
