Anna Faris has revealed the difficulties she went through in giving birth to her premature son.

Jack, who she would go on to give birth to during her relationship with Chris Pratt, was born seven weeks prior to her due date. While that was a difficult moment to contend with, so was the onset of the sudden pregnancy. After all, Anna felt everything was going fine. During an interview, Anna spoke about the sudden moment she realised something was wrong.
She said: “I had been having what I thought was a pretty amazing pregnancy…So when I woke up in the middle of the night in a small puddle of fluid, I truly didn’t have any idea what to do.” In the aftermath of the birth, there were some understandable adjustments that had to be made. Anna was bedridden, and things were not made any easier as Jack had to have regular check-ups to make sure that he was developing.
Not only that, as hindsight would later go on to show, Anna was having a lot of problems in her marriage with Chris. But the thought of having her son, by her side, kept her together during those difficult moments. She added: “The first years were filled with doctor’s appointments, five surgeries, physical therapy, a lot of laughter — because Jack was and is the most adorable cutest thing I could ever have imagined.”
Although Jack has lived a happy life since then, Anna always blames herself for the sudden pregnancy. And yet, she has no reason to do so. Having a baby is not an exact science. Anything can go wrong, but her maternal instincts could not stop her from feeling that way. She continued: “Why did my water break?…I tried to look for answers.
“I did gain 60 pounds—I was up to 160, and my doctor suggested at one point that I ease up on maple bars.” As long as Jack continues to live a fulfilled life, then Anna will have done everything that she could be expected to do. Let us hope that they continue to have a positive outlook and future.
