Angelina Jolie sure wants the world to know that she’s not thinking about the past, but instead is focusing on her future, one ‘Weeknd’ at a time. Right after reports said that the Hollywood actress was spotted leaving the apartment of her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller, there’s a new report that says she was also seen having dinner with chart topper The Weeknd.
Clearly, Angie is enjoying all of this press that she is getting as fans can’t help but wonder what in the world is going on in her personal life and why she keeps wearing the same drab looking trench coat each time she goes out. Here’s what you need to know.
Angelina Jolie Spotted Having Dinner With The Weeknd
According to ET Online, Angelina and The Weeknd were spotted dining at L.A. hotspot Giogio Baldi this past week. And before anyone jumps to any conclusions, the dinner was said to be of the professional kind as there’s a very good chance that Angie might have given the singer some acting tips.
That’s because The Weeknd is set star in, produce and co-write the HBO drama series, The Idol. And while Angie’s dinner with The Weeknd has certainly raised a lot of eyebrows in the entertainment industry, earlier reports suggested that the actress has been re-connecting with her ex, Jonny Lee Miller.
The two first met when Angelina was still a teenager on the set of the 1995 film, Hackers. Jonny Lee has also been spending some time with two of Angelina’s sons, Pax, 17, and Knox, 12, during a recent trip to New York City.
“On her first evening with Jonny, Angelina only took Knox along, and they got on like a house on fire,” a source claimed to the newspaper on Thursday. “Knox is a sweet kid, and I imagine she decided he was the easiest one to begin introductions with.”
Apparently, Angelina returned to Jonny Lee’s apartment with Pax a day after Knox met him, just because he wanted to get to know the guy that his mother has always “spoken so fondly about.”
“They only hung out for a short while at Jonny’s apartment, but they seemed to get along well,” the source added.
