Andy Cohen has announced the arrival of his daughter Lucy via a surrogate.
Andy Cohen Welcomes His Newborn Daughter Lucy-‘Thank You To My Rock Star Surrogate’
The producer/host does have previous when it comes to having children through surrogacy. In 2019, he announced the arrival of his first child Benjamin. And given that Andy was hell-bent on expanding his family following his time with Benjamin, when it finally happened, he was delighted to say the least.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, Andy shared a picture of Lucy. He is holding her close to his chest, as she sleeps. Andy has a massive smile on his face and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate…I’m so happy.”
Just as Andy was happy to have Lucy, his time with Benjamin could be characterized in the same way too. He has already introduced him to what life is like in Hollywood. In the picture here, we can see Andy and Benjamin side-by-side as they stand over Andy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
And by being a big name in the entertainment industry, it was not surprising that many stars had good things to say. Several reality stars, who had worked with Andy, expressed their happiness.
Khloé Kardashian wrote: “Congratulations!!!!! How wonderful and blessed is your family!!! May God bless you all,” while John Mayer stated: “Hello sweet girl! Congrats Andy! Doing her star chart right now!!!”
It is not clear whether Andy is planning on having another child down the line, but in any event, he has plenty of things to keep himself occupied. He will have to balance his family duties with the various franchises that he works on. But that is something that he will not mind too much.
