The ‘Sex and the City’ much hyped reboot ‘And Just Like That’ is officially in production with a full cast table read happening this past Friday.
Sarah Jessica Parker has been all over Instagram lately. First she posted about taking a stroll down memory lane, or Perry Street to be more accurate, where the front stoop of Carrie Bradshaw’s brownstone resides.
Parker then showed off the confidential scripts for the pilot of And Just Like That- the official title of the reboot.
Unfortunately, only the cover page was visible, no character names or snippets of dialogue to be seen. However, recent announcements have come of more fan favorites signing on board the 10 episode HBO Max series.
Willie Garson and Mario Cantone are back on board as Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marantino respectively. Evan Handler, Charlotte York’s (Kristin Davis) husband Harry Goldenblatt is also a confirmed sign-on.

With Chris Noth (Big) and David Eigenberg (Steve Brady) confirmed a while ago, all the ‘significant others’ are back. Now we just have to see which couples have managed to stay together in the years we’ve been missing them.
Most recently on her Insta, SJP posted a photo of herself with Davis and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbs), the New York skyline in the background. “Together Again” she captured the picture, completely ignoring the elephant not in the room. Not that we mean to compare Kim Cattrall, to such a sizeable animal!
Davis wrote in the comments “Love you forever and ever” while Nixon reposted the pic with her own caption “Friendship never goes out of style.”
I can’t be the only one (not) seeing elephants now!
Cattrall or no, fans of the series are beside themselves that the reboot will be starting filming any day now. In fact, ever the wordsmith, Andy Cohen shared his excitement at SJP’s post by commenting “I just pooped my pants.”
