Ana de Armas has admitted that the media scrutiny surrounding her relationship with her ex Ben Affleck was the reason why she left Los Angeles.

As of now, Ana is happily residing in New York. However, prior to that, she had been living in Los Angeles for around seven years. But it no longer became tolerable during the course of her relationship with Ben, which began amongst the pandemic.
They had been dating for around 1 year before they parted ways at the beginning of 2021. And by the looks of it, Ana was justified in her decision to move to another city. In an interview with Elle, she said: “That’s one of the reasons why I left LA. This is not the place for me to be.
“It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out.” Nevertheless, the split was rather amicable. They ultimately parted ways after reports that Ben did not want to commit to Ana and have more children.
This is hardly a surprise since he is not getting any younger coupled with the fact that he already has children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. But ever since that moment, they have moved on with their respective partners.
Ben is happily engaged once again to Jennifer Lopez, while Ana has moved on with the executive of Tinder, Paul Boukadakis. The fans on social media, though, were not so receptive to Ana’s claims. A certain subset of people were of the view that she had ultimately become the beneficiary of that relationship with Ben.
And they accused the star of riding off the coattails of the publicity that had emerged. One person wrote: “She was smiling BIG knowing very well the paps were taking pictures in the middle of a pandemic. Didn’t seem to complain then.
