‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re all set to get things rolling and kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies.
So what’s in store for us from Monday, April 15 to Friday, April 19? A fun dual kidnapping by Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) that will have the Abbotts blaming it on Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Granted, it’s a pretty cool idea for Jordan to try to bring Claire back into the fold, but Jordan’s storyline as more than run its course for us, and hopefully this will tie it all up.
This feels more like another moment for Claire to prove herself and possibly win over Summer Newman (Alison Lanier), though we doubt it’ll be easy or even possible.
But hope springs eternal, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the Week of Monday, April 15 to Friday, April 19: Kyle tests Claire?
This has ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers scratching our heads as we’re trying to figure out Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s motivation.
While on the surface it looks like he’s testing Claire’s fitness to look after his son, which makes sense since Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) really loved her at first sight.
We’re wondering if, given Kyle’s proclivity to sniff around, he had other interests in mind. Either way, we expect it would’ve set Summer off big time and maybe that’s the reaction Kyle is looking for?
At the moment not much about what he does makes sense since he seems to be trying to figure himself out, but that’ll be on the back burner when he discovers Harrison and Claire are gone.
He’ll run to tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that he shouldn’t have trusted Claire, which makes it sound like this was a test.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the Week of Monday, April 15 to Friday, April 19: Summer goes looking
While Kyle updates his parents, we assume he or someone will call the police and let Summer know, and she’s going to go looking for Harrison herself.
One of the first places she’ll stop is by the Tack House where Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be confused as to why Claire would’ve brought Harrison there.
Summer will then tell her they think she kidnapped Harrison, and a potential fight will ensue.
Victoria will know that’s something Claire wouldn’t do and it had to be Jordan, while Summer won’t care and will put the entire blame on Claire.
This should add some interesting angst to a storyline many wish would end already.
