‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers: Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are as thick as thieves. Spoilers reveal Valentin has roped Ava into talking Sonny into eliminating Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Is Helping Ava Gain Control of Sonny’s Territory
It’s all part of Valentin’s plan for Sonny to spin out of control. He’s already switched his bipolar medicine with placebos, as the mafia boss has refused to move Pikeman’s merchandise.
Jason is working as an FBI informant against Pikeman, and that’s not good for Valentin. He can’t risk being outed as the Pikeman boss.
Valentin may have gone to Ava with an offer: all she has to do is talk Sonny into killing Jason, and the conniving Cassadine will make Sonny go off the rails. Valentin’s goal is for Sonny to mess up enough that it lands him in prison.
He may have promised to deliver Sonny’s territory to Ava on a silver platter. Perhaps this all ties into Olivia Jerome’s (Tonja Walker) murder. Coincidence? We think not.
Whoever murdered Olivia was targeting mob bosses, and Valentin may be angling to off these people to coerce Ava into brainwashing Sonny.
Ava has been acting shady for the past couple of months. She’s made sure to isolate Sonny and make it look like she’s the only person he can trust.
The martini-guzzling minx may have even given Valentin the idea of messing with Sonny’s medicine, and she’s also encouraging him to drink.
Now, Ava is trying to convince Sonny that Jason is his enemy and that he’s the one who has been trying to kill Sonny. If Ava tricks Sonny into eliminating Jason, Valentin can kill two birds with one stone.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava And Sonny Share A Colorful History
Ava is very gifted in the art of manipulation. In addition to getting Sonny to hit the bottle hard, she could also convince him to forgo his pills altogether.
What could be worse than an unmedicated, vengeful Sonny who’s always drunk? Ava could even charm her way into Sonny’s bed.
The two of them have a very colorful history. Sonny and Ava had hate sex in the Quartermaine crypt, which is what led to Avery Corinthos (Ava Scarola) being born.
Ava switched Sonny’s son, Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) medicine, which is what inadvertently contributed to his death. However, it was Olivia Jerome who planted the bomb in Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) car. Unfortunately, Morgan was the one who drove it.
Now Ava is whispering in Sonny’s ear that he can’t trust Jason. He’s a changed man and not Sonny’s loyal enforcer. This couldn’t be further from the truth. If not for Jason, Sonny could have been shot on a few different occasions.
Someone who is definitely not buying what Ava is selling is Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). She even suggested to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that it’s weird that Ava is still living with Sonny.
Will Kristina discover what Ava is up to and warn Sonny? We think it’s only a matter of time before Ava’s plan with Valentin is revealed.
In the meantime, Sonny needs to watch his back. Ava may be trying to help Sonny destroy himself.
