Counting On: Abbie Duggar Gets Hate After Sharing Her New Business, Why Fans Are Offended

The Duggar family has gotten a lot of hate for their fundamentalist, Christian ways. Not only have they been canceled from television, but they continue to make the news with their actions.

One of the Duggar children, John David Duggar, has found that his wife, Abbie Duggar is breaking a very big rule in the Basic Life Principles organization.

Just this week, Abbie decided to launch her new business and it has a lot of her followers upset with her. She has started to sell hair care products from the Monat company. S

he recently became a market partner for the company and was happy to push these products onto her followers. However, after her last post, some of her fans aren’t too sure if they want to buy from her. Let’s find out why.

Duggar Family News: Abbie’s Latest Post

In Abbie’s post, she shared that her friend was ready to try some of the Monat products for curly hair. She shared a picture of her friend’s hair and wrote, “My neighbor came over this week and we washed her hair with THE products. Who else is ready for a hair transformation?”

As much as Abbie’s followers were excited to see these products and just what they can do, there has been a lot of skepticism online. Monat, to her followers, does seem like another MLM that Abbie has joined as a way to make money and build her business.

Redditors made their opinions known pretty quickly as she shared this post and they feel that this new business could be very offensive to her famous in-laws.

Duggar Family News: Why Redditors Think Abbie Is Breaking The Rules

When Abbie’s post hit, Redditors were quick to point out the flaws in her posting. One wrote, “Jim Bob would be so offended by this, and it would send him to an early grave. Women aren’t supposed to work!”

Some other Redditors shared that they had heard that Monat was a very shady company that hadn’t gotten the best reviews from those who use the products and those who have sold them.

Of course, there were plenty of comments about how this is another pyramid scheme. In fact, one wrote, “Are they still around? I thought they went under when everyone’s hair started falling out.”

As of right now, it looks as if Abbie is very happy about this new business venture. She looks as if she is standing by the company and its products.
