‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re at the halfway point of the week and have plenty of spoilery goodies to share for Wednesday, January 11’s episode.
This looks like it’s going to be a rocky one for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she’ll start drinking when she doesn’t get her way, and old relationships are tested while others find common ground.
Without further ado, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Salty Nikki hits bottom
Things are going to take a turn when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) asks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for the Newman jet and the security team to take her, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to see Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk).
Victor won’t like it and Nikki will demand that he doesn’t give in as she’ll think Jordan and Claire will conspire or worse.
When Victor gives in to Victoria, Nikki will storm out and hit the bottle, and this is where things will get interesting.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will come to Nikki’s aid and get her a room and some coffee.
When Victor calls, she’ll “lie” to him about Nikki drinking and totally give it away, but Nikki won’t realize it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Friends it is
After getting her father’s permission, Victoria will run into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and she’ll thank him for helping pull Nikki back from the edge.
They’ll sit down to talk and Victoria will ask about if there’s hope for them. Nate will tell her he understands her family is the center of her world, but he can’t move past her choosing Victor’s side over him.
He’ll always be her friend, and his support with believing it could be good for Claire to confront Jordan will give Victoria the boost she needs.
While this won’t weaken or break Victoria’s bond with Victor, it may give her something to think about going forward.
The Cyndi Lauper song ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ comes to mind with Victor always being her number one, but until she can get out from under his shadow we don’t see her growing into being her full self.
