‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is not giving up, despite the fact that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has given every indication that he is done with this relationship and has even told her that he wants a divorce.
Abby cheated on him with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), which is awful enough; however, when you consider that he was the donor for their baby and has been playing daddy to Chance’s child, it seems to make things worse, for reasons I don’t understand. This, however, does not appear to deter Abby; after all, she is a Newman.

I don’t believe there is any possibility of Chance reconciling with Abby. They had a good time together for a while, but when she started a family without him, things seemed to fall apart. They’ve been on rocky ground since he returned, and this sends things over the brink.
I doubt Chance wants to stay in the same town, let alone be with the lady who slept with another man. He has sacrificed so much for her, even dropping the investigation into her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), at her request, going against everything he stood for.
Abby is going to learn a hard lesson about not getting everything she desires. She has grown up as daddy’s little princess who can do no wrong, but being with Chance has given her a taste of reality at times. Chance is now even blaming himself for the failing marriage and refusing to tell anyone that she cheated on him.
Is there nothing that can be done to make this woman appear bad? She literally has the ability to do one of the worst things in a relationship and get away with it. It’s sickening, and I hope Chance doesn’t even give her the time of day, let alone return to her.
