According to reports, numerous women have come forward to suggest that the Maroon 5 lead singer had been sending them flirtatious messages. And as part of that process, model Sumner Stroh suggested that she had an affair with him.
Just when you thought that was bad enough, it is also alleged that Adam was keen on naming his upcoming baby with his wife, Behati Prinsloo, after her. And with so much controversy surrounding the star, Matthew could not help but rub salt into the wound.
In the screenshot here, we can see that Matthew has edited one of the messages that Levine was accused of sending. And in the process of doing so, he inserted his own picture onto Adam’s DM with the following words: “Holy f–k. Holy f–king f–k. That body of yours is absurd.”
Nevertheless, Adam has sought to minimise the damage that has been done to his reputation. In response to the allegation, he denied having an affair with Sumner. Instead, he recognised that his behaviour was inappropriate since he should not have been messaging other women, let alone behind his wife’s back.
In addition, he has vowed to learn from his mistakes and come back stronger, something which he has already begun to do. In response at the time, Adam remarked: “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.
“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this.”
Adam has a lot on his plate, and he will need to be there for his wife with their third baby on the way. But whether this has done irreparable damage is anyone’s guess. Time will tell.
