Now that Jovi is going back to work and will be traveling for weeks at a time, he is concerned about who can help Yara with Mylah. They have decided that it is time to heal their relationship with Gwen, but there are many fans who think that they are taking advantage of Gwen.

The couple decided that it was time to apologize to Gwen for their argument and ask her to come back into their family. Gwen knew that something was up and she told the cameras, “I love being a grandmother, but I’m nobody’s nanny.”

Yara told the cameras that Gwen is “a different grandmother than I expect her to be.” She had hopes that Gwen would “every single day will come, take the kids, will go with them somewhere.” The scene where Yara and Jovi talk about needing help with Mylah really got viewers upset. Reddit users quickly started in on them.
One Reddit user wrote, “It is not Miss Gwen’s responsibility to provide care for the child. Gwen should be able to enjoy visits and time with the grandchild when she has time. But it should never be an expectation.” Another wrote, “Gwen deserves to have boundaries and her own life.” Another added, “Sounds like Jovi and Yara are taking advantage of Miss Gwen’s help. If she has to drive three hours in one direction to see them, that’s a lot. Why aren’t they taking Mylah to her? Gwen’s made it clear that she’s nobody’s nanny. I think they expect too much.”
From what Yara has said about her own mother, it seems that she has very high expectations for Gwen to watch her child. She has mentioned that her own mother would never leave her grandchild and that they would have to force her to leave. Fans think that Yara has these same expectations of Gwen, but she is not having it. We do hope that Gwen will make some time to see Mylah more, but if she is that far away, it may not be very often.
