There has been some serious drama between Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina from 90 Day Fiancé on social media lately. Many of their fans didn’t notice it until one Reddit user decided to point it out. Quite a few viewers thought that the women were actually good friends, but from the most recent posts, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
90 Day Fiancé: What Happened?
Now that Yara and her husband, Jovi Dufren are on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, many fans are curious as to why Julia and her husband, Brandon Gibbs are not on the show. There have been many rumors that the reason is due to the fact that Julia is Russian and Yara is Ukrainian. In fact, Julia told her fans on Instagram that because she is Russian, the network did not want her to be back on the show.

Just a few days ago, Yara posted a picture of herself with a heavy filter and looking exhausted. She captioned the picture, “My reaction when Russian people complain that the world discriminates against them.” Of course, Reddit users had a field day with this post! One of them wrote, “It without a doubt is shade. LOL. I’m 100% here for it too.” Another wrote, “I’m living for this! I hate how Julia tried to make herself seem like a victim.”
These Reddit users also wanted to talk about Julia and the fact that she thought she was snubbed because of the fact that she is Russian. One wrote, “Julia is delusional to think the reason she’s not on HEA is because she’s Russian.” There have also been a lot of Reddit users who called Yara out for being so rude about Julia being Russian. They felt that she is completely in the wrong for doing so and many of Julia’s fans claim that it is because Brandon is boring and that is why they are not on the show this season.
This is not the first time that the women have battled it out on social media. They have had arguments before on social media and Julia has referred to Yara as “lazy” when she ended up having plastic surgery. Yara, of course, clapped back at her and defended the right to be able to change anything that we don’t like about ourselves.
We will continue to keep an eye on these two and just what happens next with them. We feel that there could be more backlash coming their way.
