For those who have been keeping up with Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters, you all know that she was getting ready to have her second child. She broke the news just a few days ago that she now has two sons and “Our family is complete.” On July 5, Amy made the announcement that she and her husband, Michael Halterman welcomed their son, Glenn Allen Halterman.

Glenn was born via c-section and weighed in at 5 pounds and 11 ounces. He was 17.5 inches tall. Amy told her fans, “The wait is finally over…Micahel and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman.

The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete!” Their other son, Gage Deon Halterman was born in November of 2020 and they were very happy that he had a safe and healthy birth as well.
Amy’s fans have been following her pregnancy journey since she announced that they were having another child. She has been giving updates to her fans via Instagram and they have watched as Glenn grew over the past nine months. Fans were very entertained when she shared pictures from her pregnancy app explaining the size of her baby during every check-in with fans.
In the fourth season of the show, we may get a closer look at her pregnancy and what she has gone through during it all. When she first began on the show, her doctors were a little worried about her having children because of how heavy she was. She worked really hard to lose weight and she wanted to have weight loss surgery. She ended up getting pregnant with Gage, even though her doctors were clear that she shouldn’t, but she wanted to start building her family no matter what.
Fans of the show are excited for her, but it seems as if they are worried about her weight loss once again. Will she continue to push off the weight or will the baby weight stay a little longer? We hope to follow her pregnancy in the fourth season of the show and we also hope that her sister, Tammy Slaton has been able to lose more weight or at least to find the motivation to help her do so. She has had a very tough time with her weight and it is important for her to keep it off.
