First off, let’s talk Renata. Vencer el Pasado spoilers indicate she’ll learn Sister Caridad (Lourdes Munguía) is her biological mother. This will clearly come as a shock to her, and Gemma Corona Albarrán (Valentina Buzzurro) as well.
We assume she just said she knew Renata’s mother when Gemma showed her the video because she wanted Renata to be there when she finally voiced it. Caridad will give Renata all the answers she’s been wanting, but it might be too late. Renata will have another episode so bad, she’ll end up in the emergency room.

Elsewhere, it looks like Carmen should have tuned out the ex when he started expressing doubts about Lucio Tinoco (Diego Olivera). Now, on the surface, it was smart for her to be cautious about the doubts surrounding Lucio’s ex’s whereabouts. However, she let herself be too taken in, we think.
And not just by the supposed concern he has, but by Carolina’s cry for help. It seems she’s dangerous and Lucio had every reason to want her away from the kids. In fact, Lucio will have to step in and save the kids and Carmen. Obviously, that won’t sit well with him and it shouldn’t.

Going back to the Renata situation, Vencer el Pasado spoilers reveal the seriousness of her condition gets Darío Valencia Grimaldi (Sebastián Rulli) to rethink his distance from Renata. In fact, he’ll confess to being in love with her. We assume from the teaser he’ll think she’s asleep, but she won’t be.
This is one pair we’d like to see get that happy ending. They’ve both been through a lot during this series and they deserve something good to come out of it. And we can just imagine how Lisandro Mascaró (Leonardo Daniel) knows his daughter is with his enemy.

So, Brenda was very tight-lipped throughout the series as to who her son’s father is. We think it’s a shame Javier Mascaró Zermeño (Ferdinando Valencia) was killed off before he could get what he’d begged for. However, it looks like she’ll try to right that wrong, to an extent, by telling the father instead. And from what we’re seeing, this is another thing Lisandro might not like. Assuming, of course, he didn’t know.
