‘Dancing With the Stars’: Season 30 Cast Announced

‘Dancing With the Stars’ has revealed the celebrities who will be competing for the disco ball trophy, but in all honesty- most of the names were leaked beforehand anyway!

On GMA this morning, Dancing with The Stars shocked no one when revealing the season 30 famous faces we will see, from reality stars to influencers to a Spice Girl with a bit of time on her hands- lets dive in.

‘Dancing With the Stars’: Season 30 Cast Announced

Olympic gold-medal winning gymnast, Suni Lee was the first celebrity to be announced, along with Dance Moms star (can anyone say advantage?) JoJo Siwa. Poor Suni got barely as second glance when it was announced Jo Jo would have a female partner- becoming the first competitor to dance in a same sex  pairing…in the US anyway.

The next celebs were already spotted either in rehearsals or landing In LA and heading to the dancing studios so no one was gasping to learn The Bachelor’s Matt James would be filling the now obligatory Bachelor Nation position.

The Talk co-host Amanda Kloots was also announced prior to…well, being announced. Kloots, too has a dancing background, performing on both Broadway, and at the Radio City Music Hall as a Rockette.  Another (high-kicking) leg up Kloots has? Her pal, and ex-co-host Carrie Ann Inaba is a judge…hmmm.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore was already leaked to be competing- and it turned out to be a true statement, as did news of YouTuber /Lori Loughlin’s daughter/NOT collegiate rower Olivia Jade joining the cast.

Mel C of Spice Girls fame was a last minute spoiler when she was spotted heading to the DWTS studios after landing in L.A. and the rumors that Brian Austin Green, yup, David Silver from Beverly Hills 90210 would be joining his pro dancer boo- Aussie Sharna Burgess in the ballroom, turned out to be 100% true.

So, who hadn’t we heard spoilers about? How about WWE superstar /reality competition star/ actor from Ohio/Calgary (the details are very hazy)- The Miz who promises to bring the royal rumble to the dancefloor. We also have NBA pro turned new reality star of We Got Love Iman & Teyana-Iman Shumpert.

Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby is getting off the bike and onto the dance floor while Netflix star, Christine Chiu is bringing her Bling Empire style into the ballroom. Actress and comedienne Melora Hardin, country singer Jimmie Allen and Martin Kove- yes Cobra Kai Dojo owner John Kreese himself will be rounding out the celebrity group.

These 15 will be paired with pro dancers Cheryl Burke, Emma Slater, Jenna Johnson, Lindsay Arnold, Sharna Burgess, Daniella Karagach, Witney Carson, Britt Stewart, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, Brandon Armstrong, Gleb Savchenko, Pasha Pashkov, Sasha Farber and Valentin “Val” Chmerkovskiy.

Joining Inaba behind the judge’s desk will be old favorites Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli and for the first time, Derek Hough will be judging with Goodman instead of replacing him due to the British judge being unable to travel to the United States thanks to pandemic-related travel restrictions.

Love her or hate her, supermodel, Tyra Banks will be back to return as host of Dancing with the Stars for season 30 which premieres on Monday, September 20 on ABC.
