‘Better Caul Saul’ Star Bob Odenkirk Realizes It Really Is “A Wonderful Life”

Better Call Saul’ beloved star, Bob Odenkirk had to suffer a major medical scare to discover just how many people he has on his team.

The 58 year old actor gave his family, friends, co-workers and legions of fans a huge scare last week when he collapsed on the New Mexico set the Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul.

While the reason for the collapse wasn’t initially known, it was soon discovered that Odenkirk had suffered a heart attack.

Now on the mend, Odenkirk has reached out to those all holding their breath and awaiting good news to ensure he is doing well and feels like a real-life George Bailey- Jimmy Stewart’s famous character from the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

“I am doing great. I’ve had my very own “It’s a wonderful life” week of people insisting I make the world slightly better,” he wrote with deep gratitude on Twitter. “Wow! Thank you, I love everyone right now but let’s keep expectations reasonable!”

It sure seems he is feeling better and did not lose any of his humor due to the terrifying ordeal.

In fact, while his famous friends like Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston were full of concern after learning of Odenkirk’s collapse, the actor has been keeping everyone apprised of his situation, tweeting that he had suffered a heart attack but was on the mend.

He also thanked his medical team who worked on him without having to put Odenkirk through a dangerous surgery, AMC and SONY’s support and assistance and of course, his fans for their concern and well-wishes.

While Bob is yet to be cleared to return to the “Better Call Saul” set, he seems to be resting up and in very high spirits. For that we can all be thankful.

Be well, Bob!
