Britney Spears did not hold back on letting the world know exactly how she feels about her father, Jamie Spears, amid their conservatorship battle.
Britney Spears Wants Her Father In Jail- Compares Her Treatment To ‘Sex Trafficking’
Jamie and Britney have been at loggerheads over whether the latter should be able to handle her own finances. But now it seems Britney has made her stance very clear, as she blasted her father over what she perceived to be total control coming from him.
The singer highlighted one instance of how her father was looking to send her away to a psychiatric unit in order to take control of her estate. In an official statement, she remarked: “I got a phone call from my dad…[He said], ‘I’m sorry, Britney…they’re planning to send you to a small home in Beverly Hills…I cried on the phone for an hour, and he loved every minute of it.”
But that was only the start of it. There had always been conflicting reports over Britney’s state of health over the years. This all came to the fore when she infamously shaved her head bold in 2008 and was visibly going through some difficulties. And yet, it was much more severe than that. Britney claimed she was treated similar to that of a victim of trafficking.
She added: “The only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking. Making anyone work against their will, taking all their possessions away — credit card, cash, phone passport — and placing them in a home.” Such statements can only aid Britney’s cause.
Given that she has been so vocal against her father, if it can be proven that Britney is in full capacity and in good health, there should be no reason why she cannot have full control over her life. However, that is only the start of it.
Britney is hoping that she can put those who have made her suffer firmly under the microscope of justice. She continued: “My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a key role in punishing me — they should be in jail.” It is safe to say that Britney and her father will not be reconciling anytime soon.
