You’d think by now that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would have cut the cord for good, but that simply hasn’t happened yet. Even though the former mega couple separated back in 2016, they are yet to sign the divorce papers in their case.
That’s because they’ve run into some pretty complex developments in their case as they are both trying to reach an agreement in their custody battle for their six children, too. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though Angelina Jolie insists on having full-time custody of their children, Brad Pitt is also demanding his fair share of time with their kids, too. Because they have been unable to reach an agreement in their case, their divorce has cost an estimated $10,000 a day.
As a matter of fact, The Daily mail says the proceedings in terms of legal fees are shaking out to be “one of the most expensive divorce cases in Hollywood history.”

One big cost from their divorce happens to be the use of a private judge, who charges a whopping $1,000 an hour. What’s more, both Angelina and Brad are using reputable attorneys to handle their cases, which is also costing between $1,000 to $1,500 an hour.
Meanwhile, reports have indicated that Brad Pitt has been left absolutely heartbroken over Angelina Jolie’s abuse allegations and the fact that they keep leaking to the press.
The Hollywood actress says that she has “proof’ of her alleged domestic violence case against her ex husband. The actress is also ready to testify about alleged spousal abuse in their trial over child custody.
One insider told Page Six, “He has talked about his drink and drug problems during the time they were together. Brad has never been arrested and charged for anything and there’s never been a police report about any allegations of spousal abuse. There was the widely-publicized plane incident, but he was never charged. Brad and his camp has never attacked Angelina. But his camp feels this leak was calculated to sway opinion ahead of the conclusion of their trial. Brad feels like he’s being more and more isolated from his children, and he’s devastated about it”
It is hoped the trial will end next month and the judge will rule on custody.
