The Bachelorette find that Bachelor alum Ashley Ianconetti, AKA crying girl, AKA Ashley I is, in fact, a bit of a private ‘I’ as she has uncovered photos of Blake Moynes on The Bachelorette Season 17 set.
Blake has already had his chance with two Bachelorettes- Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams during their double-header season 16. Well, okay, no one but Dale Moss had a chance with Clare, but when Tayshia sent Blake packing just before hometowns, it seems Blake didn’t go very far.
The Bachelorette: Maybe they wouldn’t let him back in to Canada?
The 30 year old wildlife manager has been photographed filming with the Bachelorette crew in New Mexico. It is unsure if Blake is a surprise reveal , getting out of the limo with the rest of Katie’s 29 men on night one, or if he pulled a Heather Martin, rented himself a minivan and rocked up late. If Blake was a later addition, he hasn’t missed much yet- filming only began on March 22.
The Bachelorette: Third Time’s a Charm? Is Blake Moynes Now Competing for Katie Thurston’s Heart?
Thanks to Ashley I, we now have proof that it was more than mere rumor that Blake was seen in New Mexico. However, it still isn’t 100% proof that he is there to compete for Katie’s heart. Yes, he’s filming, so we are pretty much guaranteed to see him throughout the season, but we are yet to see a picture of him and Katie together.
Could Katie reject his desire to come in late after seeing what late arrivals did to the girls in the mansion when Katie was competing for Matt James’ affections? Could Blake be there to simply chat with the men about his experience on season 16? It has happened that past alum have popped by to give the new contestants a thrill, but is Blake a big enough name for ABC to want him to do that? Doubtful.
The Bachelorette: It could get awkward.
We’ll err on the side of probability here and say that Blake is joining the mansion full of men, hoping to romance Katie. So how will he feel when he sees Tayshia again, stepping in to co-host the season with Kaitlyn Bristowe? Blake had been vocal about falling Tayshia, even admitting during the Men Tell All that he hadn’t received the closure he had desired.
Hmmm, Katie should keep an eye out for that…
