Lindsay Arnold has hit back at her critics, who have accused the dancer of editing her pictures on social media.

Lindsay, who took time off Dancing with the Stars following her pregnancy, was accused of photoshopping her C-section scar. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she posted a picture of herself sunbathing next to the pool. The image was captioned by the following comments: “There has been some speculation on my last couple posts about whether or not I have been photoshopping my scar out of my pictures
“I feel like this needs to be addressed as it’s important to me that you all know that my C-section scar is now my favourite part of my body.” And rather than covering her scar, Lindsay is making it visible for all to see. After all, it is a representation of the fortitude that she showed during the birth of her child. Had things gone awry, Lindsay may have suffered from permanent damage.
But she was prepared to take any measures to ensure that her baby was born. She added: “It is the representation of the thing I am most proud of in my life… I seriously want to show my scar to everyone I see cause I think it’s so insane and crazy cool that Sage came out of that little cut in my belly?!” Lindsay continued in the same vein.
She simply opened up on how her choice of clothing may have gotten in the way of the scar. It was not something meant to be intentional as the trolls had alleged. And she signed off her post by honouring the women, who had suffered similar problems: “I had to pull my suit down low for this, which is why you all are not seeing it in my pics. I would never and have never photoshopped any part of my body. No I am not photoshopping my scar out of anything, and in case anyone forgot, WOMEN’S BODIES ARE INCREDIBLE.”
It is great to see Lindsay being so happy with her appearance, and long may that continue.
