Meghan Markle may have left the Royal family, but it does not mean that she has no relationships with them. In fact, it is quite the contrary as Meghan, and Princess Eugenie remain very close.

So what do the two have in common that has united them so much? Well, it seems their respective pregnancies have given them much to talk about, and a source confirmed as much: “They are sort of an unlikely pair, but remain in contact. They bond over their pregnancies. Eugenie is really the only member of the royal family that Meghan is still close to.”
But aside from their pregnancies, the two shared many happy moments together during Meghan and Prince Harry’s time in the UK. Not just on official Royal duties, but also during their downtime. Royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealed: “Out of all the Queen’s grandchildren, Harry and Eugenie have one of the most natural connections.
“Like Harry, Eugenie is loyal, honest and great fun. The two had many nights out together in London.” And things have continued to go on strong since Meghan’s departure to the US. She rented out her and Harry’s cottage to Eugenie during their absence. The gesture was accepted with open arms.
An insider confirmed: “Frogmore Cottage continues to be [the couple’s] residence in the UK, and they are delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family. They have not moved out and will still stay at the house during UK visits.”
So will Harry and Meghan return? Well, the door is always open, and the most likely of the two to pursue such a step would be Harry. In a recent interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show, his comments did not rule out a return. He said: “It was never walking away. It was stepping back rather than stepping down. “It was a really difficult environment as I think a lot of people saw. We all know what the British press can be like. It was destroying my mental health.”
