‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have found that Allie Horton blew into Salem with drama nipping at her heels. Pregnant and at odds with her mother, things only grew more dramatic when it was revealed that Allie’s pregnancy was the product of sexual assault.
Since then, Allie has been embroiled in one serious storyline after another and portrayer, Lindsay Arnold even had to dig deep to film her character’s rape scene.

Though Covid rules make it impossible for the cast to interact when they are not filming, Lindsay enjoys the recent storylines she has been sharing with Isabel Durant (Claire Brady) Mike Manning (Charlie Dale) and Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton).
Said Lindsay to Soap Opera Digest, “It’s nice to have people in my storyline who are my age. It’s nice to have them on set all the time to joke around with each other.”

But the biggest jokester of all is Lindsay’s on screen father, Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton). Lindsay admits it can be difficult to keep a straight face when sharing scenes with Bryan.
“Even if we have a scene where we’re both really emotional or really serious, which most of our scenes are, he will be joking and doing impressions of someone on the set,” she revealed, saying Bryan only grows serious again when the director calls “Action!”
She admitted that, while it makes it difficult to stay in character between scenes or go over lines, it is a really fun dynamic and she loves watching her on-screen dad go from “a little cuckoo” Bryan to “suddenly serious” Lucas.
Though Lindsay is one of the newer actors on set—she has been seen on our screens since June of last year—it looks as though she is fitting in nicely with her work family. Here’s hoping Allie will soon be able to have as much fun as Lindsay does!
