‘Days of our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that just when Claire thinks she’s been able to step out from under the shadow of her aunt, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and has found true love, her world has come shattering down yet again.
Claire is thoroughly smitten with her new boyfriend Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) and can’t fathom the possibility that he is Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rapist. Even though the news came from a reliable source–her grandfather John Black (Drake Hogestyn)–Claire clings to hope it’s all a mistake.
‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers: Is it back to Bayview for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) as she spirals?
After Allie has no luck extracting the truth from Charlie, sitting in the Salem police station’s interrogation room where he has lawyered up, Claire takes her turn, demanding the truth.
Though it’s what Claire wanted to hear–Charlie swearing he’s not Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) son and he has nothing to do with Allie’s rape–she still doesn’t 100% believe her beau.

As Charlie begs Claire to believe that he is a good guy and that Claire means everything to him, it becomes obvious his manipulation is taking a toll. Deep down, Claire can see the puzzle pieces of Charlie’s recent strange behavior fitting together. Further proof is piled on when Claire’s father, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) reveals that Ava was found, tied up and drugged in Charlie’s apartment.
No matter how hard Charlie denies it, the truth is out there. With Ava spilling all the tea to Nicole from her hospital bed where she is recovering from the drug induced psychosis that Charlie caused, Charlie’s lies will soon be exposed.
So how hard will Claire spiral? Is she mentally strong enough to take all this information or is another stay in Bayview mental hospital in her future?
It’s going to be tough for Claire to immediately turn her feelings off, but it would be near impossible to forgive her boyfriend for assaulting her confidante and cousin, Allie. Lovelorn Claire may turn back to her villainous ways. In a fragile state, Claire may take several back steps in her mental health recovery, perhaps even taking things out on Allie.
Hopefully before we see a type of redux of Claire setting Ciara ablaze and framing Ben, she will be able to recognize the signs and ask grandmother, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for help. Perhaps she’ll even ask to be admitted back into Bayview.
But, if the foreshadowing we’ve witnessed over the last several weeks is anything to go by, it looks like Claire might turn to her friends and family- namely a certain hottie who has recently lost the love of his life, too.
We’ve all seen the coupling of Ben and Claire coming and it looks with Charlie no longer a player, it could happen sooner rather than later. But is Ciara really gone for good? Is ANYONE in Salem ever gone for good?
