‘Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) paid tribute to the late jazz keyboardist Chick Corea on her Instagram page. Corea passed away on February 9th at the age of 79. He will forever be remembered as an extraordinary artist who pushed beyond the boundaries.
Before he passed, he left a message to the world, “I want to thank all of those along my journey who have helped keep the music fires burning bright. It is my hope that those who have an inkling to play, write, perform or otherwise, do so. If not for yourself then for the rest of us. It’s not only that the world needs more artists, it’s also just a lot of fun.”
Stafford shared this quote on her Instagram with the following caption,
“How many of us, on our way out, have a chance to write something to the world? How many of us would actually do it? Chick Corea was a friend. A beautiful, soulful man. One of the greatest Jazz musicians to live. This is his beautiful goodbye message. He is right. The world needs more artists. And thank GOD for artists. If you have something to create… do it. We need it.❤️”
