‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers tells that when they had the big discussion with Mom and Dad, Kim informed him of some rather troubling news. She said that she had people that would send her screenshots of everything he and Moriah were doing on social media.
The bad thing is, is that she wouldn’t even tell him who these people were, she just said “people”. When Micah found that out you could tell he was considerably crestfallen because he had worked to gain some privacy away from his family and thought that his Mom and Dad would not know everything he was doing but instead he finds out that all of his moves are being tracked and sent to Mom.

Likewise for Moriah, and when Kim announced to Moriah that she knew she had a boyfriend, you could see a wall of fear form on Moriah’s face and then she just emotionally shut down and said she didn’t want to talk about that. Some might argue that she is only 17, but the Plaths are the ones that should have thought about that before they kicked Moriah out.
They were the ones that cast that stone when they decided to make them move out, all so they could continue to shelter their four youngest children in the way that they wanted. Honestly, a lot of things have gone exactly the way that Ma and Pa Plath wanted and that hasn’t always been a good thing.
So, let’s do the adult Plath kids a favor and stop ratting them out to their Mom. Literally no one else has to deal with being ratted out to their Moms after they move out of the house and the Plath kids should be afforded the same courtesy.
They have worked really hard to even be able to have a modicum of independence and that should be respected. Besides, they aren’t doing anything that other kids their age aren’t doing. Why do people get a kick out of depriving them of their privacy though?
One thing could be there is a lot of viewers who think that sticking it to Ma and Pa Plath by showing them what their kids are doing now is somehow beneficial to the kids when it really isn’t. It just reinforces the idea that their lives and privacy aren’t their own even though they have done the steps to make it so. It really undermines their sense of freedom and that’s not fair to them.
So, to anyone out there who is ratting out the Plath kids to their Mom, I’m going to quote a meme by Michael Jordan: “Stop it, get some help.” Otherwise, stay tuned!!!
