British Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle has joined the growing number of celebrities who are speaking out about Ruth Bader Ginsburg after the Supreme Court Justice passed away this week at the age of 86. Here’s what she has to say.
“With an incomparable and indelible legacy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will forever be known as a woman of brilliance, a Justice of courage, and a human of deep conviction,” reads the statement from Markle, 39. “She has been a true inspiration to me since I was a girl. Honor her, remember her, act for her.”

Ginsburg died at her home near Washington, D.C. on Friday, but was surrounded by her closest family members, including her granddaughter, who later told the press that her last dying wish was for her not to be replaced until a new President is elected.
Meanwhile, others are remembering her legacy as perhaps one of the most important feminists in history. “Our nation has lost a jurist of historic stature,” Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., said of Ginsburg. “We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague.”
Meanwhile, former Vice President and current Presidential nominee Joe Biden has gone on the record to say that President Trump’s plan to replace Ginsburg is an “abuse of power.” In fact, Burden has urged some Senate Republicans to delay a confirmation vote.
According to the BBC, during a speech at the Constitutional Center in Philadelphia on Sunday, Biden said the president had “made clear this is about power, pure and simple.”
“The United States constitution allows Americans the chance to be heard – and their voice should be heard… they should make it clear, they will not stand for this abuse of power,” he said.
