WWE News: SummerSlam Odds Suggest Multiple Titles Changes

WWE fans are gearing up for one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year, as SummerSlam takes place this weekend. Some of the biggest matches of the year are part of the card, with the WWE Championship, Universal Champions and both Raw and Smack Down Women’s Championships on the line during the event.

In total there are seven titles on the line at SummerSlam, with two non-title matches announced. The pick of those will see Dominik Mysterio square off against Seth Rollins, while Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are also set to take each other on in a ‘hair vs hair’ match.

WWE News: Odds Suggest Title Changes

The recent odds also suggest that there could be a couple of title changes at SummerSlam, with the notable standout one being the WWE Championship match.

The latest odds have Randy Orton as the 8/13 favourite to win the championship. It would be a disappointing outcome for McIntyre who has excelled over the past couple of months. The Scot is valued at 6/5 to regain the gold.

If the odds are to be believed then there could be two new world champions at SummerSlam, as The Fiend is also the heavy favourite to defeat Braun Strowman. Fiend is currently valued at a short price of 2/5, while Strowman is a pretty long chance at 7/4.

It has already been rumoured that Alexa Bliss may end up getting involved in this match and could cost Strowman the chance of defending his title. Either way, the rivalry has intensified over the past couple of weeks.

WWE News: Asuka Favourite To Win Title

There could also be set to be a change in the holder of the women’s title, as Asuka is the favourite to beat Sasha Banks. That result would be considered somewhat of a shock considering that Banks has only recently won the gold. Meanwhile, Bayley is the narrow favourite to defend her title at SummerSlam.

Andrade and Angel Garza are also the favourites to beat the Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championships. The one safe champion according to the odds is Apollo Crews, who is the heavy favourite to beat MVP for the United States Championship.

The odds can’t separate Dominik Mysterio and Seth Rollins, with both superstars having odds of 5/6 at present. Meanwhile, Mandy Rose is the heavy favourite to defeat Sonya Deville.
