While her motives weren’t quite what we thought, the result was the same. Here’s what you need to know.

First of all, we learned (finally) the entire truth about the night of the accident that claimed Adrienne Johnson’s (Judi Evans) life. It turns out, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was the one driving. He had drugged Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) to get ransom money from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Hey, a guy needs money to live on the run with his criminal son and grandchild, right?
Unfortunately for him, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal he made a big mistake. He allowed himself to get distracted behind the wheel and ran Adrienne’s car off the road. We love how they made so many scenarios possible, as three people crossed paths that night. It was a great mystery, and the final resolution allows for a way forward for Maggie. She’s too nice a character to be burdened with something like that for life.

So, why did Zoey turn her dad in? It looks like one of his kids finally grew a backbone and decided to put an end to their father’s crimes. She told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) her father is a dangerous man and she had to expose what he did. It seemed a logical move, because she seemed to be the most uneasy with Orpheus. Plus, she’s clearly the stronger person in that family, as Evan cracked in about two seconds during the car crash. Seriously, we question if Evan is really even belongs to that family. He seems to have no guts, and no devious side. Just a pawn that goes with whoever is leading at the moment.

So, what’s next? Well, considering the weekly has a scene with Evan and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) where Sonny has some harsh words, we assume the truth is out. And Sonny is fighting mad about it. We feel for him and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). This roller coaster never seems to end. But, there will be another consequence, we’re sure.
The weekly preview also showed an escalation of John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) kidnapping. We’re sure he’ll out even more pressure on if he learns his secret’s out. Of course, it could also make John’s situation even more precarious. Tune in to see how it all plays out.
