‘Young and the Restless’ (YR) spoilers for Thursday, August 8 find Summer Newman (Hunter King) getting into a heated battle with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) continue to argue about the past. Also, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) welcomes her son Connor to Genoa City while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) continues to listen to Bill Abbott (Jason Thompson).
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 8: Theo and Summer Own Kyle and Abby – Duo Causing All Kinds of Trouble In GC!
It begins at Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, where Chelsea is happy to see her son Connor again. At the Dive Bar, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is stressing out about the joint bachelor and bacherlotte party. She can’t let anything go wrong as both Lola and Kyle are counting on her. Everyone begins to arrive and start dancing on the dance floor. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) runs into Billy. Theo meets Summer at the part and promises to behave, although it’s clear as day that he has something on his mind.

Rey is at the rooftop with Mariah. Sharon is there and is upset with Mariah for not telling her that Rey would be at the party, too. Rey and Sharon talk and they agree to keep their distance from one another. However, Rey can’t help but mention Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) name. Sharon doesn’t want to talk about it.
Elsewhere, Summer and Theo make their grand entrance. Mariah confronts them as Summer was invited but Theo wasn’t. Kyle is there and tells Theo he needs to leave. But it’s Lola who convinces Kyle that it’s okay for Theo to stay as she tries to diffuse the situation. Abby is also there and says that Summer brought Theo on purpose to provoke Kyle. Rey makes a speech.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Abby and Nate
Abby then tells Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that Summer and Theo were mocking the video and that they need to leave. Summer challenges Abby. Theo then starts to make a speech and talks about how much Kyle has changed and how he’s a completely different person with Lola. Kyle drags Theo away from the mic.
Theo says that Kyle looks like he’s scared that the truth might come out and that he’s tired of his sanctimonious behavior. Kyle then snaps. Nearby, Abby is preaching to Summer and reminds her that Kyle doesn’t want her anymore. In return Summer calls her a loser. Abby screams at her to leave. Summer then takes a bucket of ice water and douses it over Abby’s head. Mariah rushes to the scene to break things up.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy Disappointed With Sharon
Over at Crimson Lights, Billy learns about how Rey found Adam and Sharon together. He admits that he’s disappointed. Sharon tries to change the subject. Billy talks about the voices in his head. Sharon can’t help but wonder if he’s talking about his daughter’s ghost.
