‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 7 find Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) getting messages from his daughter from beneath her grave. Also, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has a new proposition for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) does her best to diffuse a situation. Also, Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) has a lot of explaining to do after her ex Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) finds out that she spent the night with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 7: Adam Sets Sharon Up With Ultra Steamy Hookup, Rey Catches Shadam In the Act!
It begins with Adam making a phone call to report an assault. At Crimson Lights, Phyllis is with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). She’s telling him about an opportunity to invest. Devon says that he’s currently dealing with other matters. Phyllis crosses his name off a list and then looks at Nick’s name. Inside, Billy tells Rey that he’s sorry about his breakup with Sharon. Rey then gets a call to investigate an assault on Adam.

Back at Nick’s place, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) tells him that Connor will be with them tomorrow. She’s not sure if she should tell Connor that his father is still alive. Nick makes a joke asking if that’s good news. Chelsea doesn’t take it lightly and is worried about how this all is going to impact her kids. Later on, Phyllis and Chelsea clash. Phyllis suspects that Chelsea is up to no good and that she wants something from Nick. Phyllis calls her a gold digger.
Billy is at the Chancellor Mansion. He wants to know who is causing all of the voices in his head. He calls out his daughter Delia’s name. Billy gets a text from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to watch a movie with them, but he says that he’s too busy with work. He’s trying to make contact with the voices from the other side of the walls. He figures it’s Delia. He then hears a voice that tells him to ‘Stop Adam Now.’ Victoria is trying to get through to Billy again. Billy replies that he’s making progress. He then tells his daughter that he received her message both “loud and clear.”
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki Unsure of Phyllis
At Society, Nikki is complaining about Adam provoking Nick and vice versa. Nick says that Sharon showed up at the wrong moment. Nikki can’t help but wonder what’s wrong with Sharon and why she’s so hung up on Adam. Nick is worried that Adam is manipulating her. Nikki then finds out that he and Phyllis have made amends.
Nikki is unsure if Phyllis is hiding something or that she thinks something must be in it for her. Nick then mentions Chelsea and Nikki says she doesn’t think it’s a good idea that she is living with him. She tells him that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is upset over the entire custody battle. Nick says that he will invite him to play soccer with the boys. Phyllis then swings by and tells Nick all about her new deal and how it’s an opportunity he can’t pass up.
Phyllis needs a loan but Nick says it’s not going to happen anytime soon. However, he says that he’s sure she will find someone to back her up. Nikki then thanks Phyllis for what she did for Nick. Phyllis, however, doesn’t like the fact that Victor is profiting from her. Phyllis then tries Nikki and wonders if she can help her out cash wise.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Rey Investigates Nick & Adam’s Altercation
Rey is at Adam’s place. He sees the cuts on his face. Adam refuses to let him in. Rey says that he wants him arrested. Rey says that he will get Nick’s side of the story but Adam says that he’s got a witness. Sharon is there and says that she’s hungry. Rey’s shocked to see her.
Afterwards, Adam says that he didn’t set this up. Sharon shouts at him and says that he’s ruining her life. Adam says that all he wants to do is make her happy while Sharon reminds him that he tried to reunite with Chelsea, too.
