Amelia Gray Hamlin Is Unconcerned By Scott Disick And Kourtney Kardashian Being So Close
There had been concerns about why Scott would remain very close to Kourtney since she has moved on with Travis Barker. And yet, they continue to have a strong bond for the sake of their kids. And as for Amelia, she is fine with that. An insider told Us Weekly: “Amelia’s not bothered by Kourtney. Scott and Amelia have been enjoying spending a lot of time together and hanging out with their friends.
“Their relationship has been heating up, and you can totally tell they’re serious.” The concerns, however, were legitimate given how Scott’s previous relationship with Sofia Richie had played out. The model had seemingly become frustrated by the lack of quality time that they had been spending together because of Scott’s close connection to Kourtney. But this time around, it is a different ball game.
A source stated: “Tension between Kourtney and Sofia got weird toward the end of Sofia and Scott’s relationship. Sofia was getting mad that Scott was spending so much time with Kourtney.” That is not to say that Scott and Amelia have not been blighted by controversy. They have experienced their own share of struggles because of the significant age gap between the two. Scott is 37, whereas Amelia is 19.
But the latter has come of age, which has been aided by Scott, who is no stranger to dating younger girls. The source added: “Scott’s dated Sofia, so age isn’t really an issue for him… They have more in common than people would think. … He sees himself as being younger than he is. Amelia is really mature and acts older than she is, so they get along pretty well.”
It is still early stages in their relationship, but on the surface, things could not be going better. This stability has also aided Scott as he has been able to co-parent his kids with Kourtney much more easily, which has aided everyone involved. While there are no plans for an upcoming engagement, if things continue to go smoothly, it will surely not be before too long that it happens.
