There’s nothing worse in this world than being bullied or harassed by someone that you used to love and assumed that person loved you, too. Unfortunately, model Amber Rose has learned the hard way that whatever feelings that were shared between her and Kanye West were all but gone the moment that they split up, as she is now alleging that the rapper had apparently “bullied” her for ten years. Here’s what she has to say.
The 37-year-old television personality appeared on the No Jumper podcast, where she made her comments about Kanye, after she was asked if she had “soaked up” any positive influence left by her ex. Amber and Kanye dated for two years between 2008 and 2010. Kanye went on to marry his his wife Kim Kardashian in 2013.
Amber Rose Says That She Was Bullied By Kanye West
“I’m a compassionate person. I have empathy. I’m a good person. That’s why people love me,” she said, noting how her character is different from that of West, 43. “That’s why anybody I’ve ever dated loved me. You can’t really mention anyone that says anything really bad about me — except for him, because I got away. I’m not like him at all.”
Amber also said that she has felt indifferent about Kanye and his latest Twitter antics, which some believe have been because of his reported bipolar disorder.
“I don’t really think about him like that,” she said. “For me, it’s just some guy that I dated 10 years ago. I don’t feel a connection where I’m, like, concerned. That’s not my business. That’s his wife’s business what he does.” Amber also insists that she was the one who pulled the plug on their relationship.
“I opted out,” Rose said, claiming it was her decision to call it quits. “I don’t know if he says things to make his wife more comfortable, but to slut-shame me and say you needed 30 showers, like, bro, you took me around the world. Since when do you need 30 showers?”
