Meghan Markle was slammed as the new Yoko Ono of the royals family as Prince Harry calls for an apology from the royal family. During the Netflix series Harry and Meghan, Harry said, “I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology. My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next. Everything that’s happened to us, was always going to happen to us,” he added. “Because if you speak truth to power, that’s how they respond.”

Caught in a lie? Also, the Daily Mail suggested in their latest paper that the “great burgundy royal parade” might have been a cheeky swipe at Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex said in the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan that she never wore color during her time in the royal family because she didn’t want to upstage any of the more senior royals.
During the final episode for Netflix’s Harry and Meghan docuseries, the Duchess of Sussex hinted that she just wasn’t given much of a chance while she was still a full-time working member of the royal family. Even after she and Harry pulled the plug on their working relationship with the monarchy, the Duchess of Sussex admitted that despite going to great lengths, nothing was ever good enough for the royals.
“I tried so hard… That’s the piece that’s so triggering. Because … it still wasn’t good enough, and you still don’t fit in.”
Meghan also claimed that she wasn’t trying to make her own rules, it’s just that the rules didn’t fit into her schedule. As many fans can recall, Meghan gave birth to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, 2019. As with royal births that came before his, and again referring to the ‘contract’ the media has with the royal family, Harry and Meghan were expected to appear on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital after Archie’s birth to present him to the world. It received negative backlash when the public found out that would not happen.
Sharing the real reason they did not pose on the steps, Meghan reveals that the doctor she had been with throughout her entire pregnancy worked at a different hospital, but because of the years-long tradition of royals giving birth at St Mary’s the decision was made to have a photocall at Windsor Castle rather than at a different hospital.
