Alex Rodriguez has been keeping himself in a positive frame of mind, despite his well-publicised split from Jennifer Lopez.

The news was very difficult for Alex to take given that he and Jennifer had been on course to get married. Naturally, the fall out also had a significant impact on his kids as they were very fond of Jennifer. To make matters worse, Jennifer went on to hook up with Ben Affleck just as Alex had hoped for a reconciliation.
But it seems he is looking to put it all behind him. In a post to his fans on Instagram, we can see Alex looking on into the sunset as he is standing on a golf course. The post was captioned by the following comments: “The sun is setting on a perfect golf day, and I’m feeling very appreciative for all of the wonderful things in life.”
Alex, for his part, does have a lot to be thankful for. He has a wonderful family, who are not exactly going to be short of money in light of the millions he has made in his baseball career. And Alex is looking to continue that success with his latest business ventures. The star has decided to set up a new range of concealer sticks for men, and by all accounts, social media has gravitated towards it.
But for all the positivity surrounding his financial dealings, he has still been left reeling by the manner in which his relationship with Jennifer played out. An insider revealed: “There’s a part of him that still clings onto the hope that they’ll wind up together again, but deep down, he’s had to accept the harsh truth.
“It’s a tough pill to swallow, but that’s his new reality.” Nevertheless, it is only a matter of time before Alex does find someone else to settle down with. Although there are no names being currently linked, Alex has not ruled it out. In a prior post to his fans on social media, he remarked: “I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming.”
