The pair broke things off in 2021 just when reports indicated that they were considering getting married together. But ever since that moment, the pair have gone in different directions. Jennifer has gone full circle after getting engaged to Ben Affleck for the second time.
Meanwhile, Alex is happily dating Kathryne Padgett. With that being said, Alex had nothing but warm words to say about Jennifer.
In his comments, he said: “Here’s what I will tell you about Jennifer, and I was telling some of my colleagues here the other day, she’s the most talented human being I’ve ever been around. Hardest worker. And I think she is the greatest performer, live performer in the world.”
Their close bond is hardly a surprise, especially since Alex’s kids had bonded with Jennifer. In the aftermath of their break up, Jennifer was on hand to share a warm birthday tribute to Alex’s daughter Ella, with a happy 13th birthday last year.
In the picture here, we can see a throwback photo of Jennifer with Ella during the latter’s younger years. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Happy birthday Ella Bella.”
The fans on social media praised Alex for his comments. This was on the grounds that it could have been easy for him to look at the negative side of things. But by showing how much he appreciated Jennifer, people felt Alex came across as very genuine.
One person wrote: “Yup some shit ain’t forever. Just gotta enjoy the ride and time spent,” while another person stated: “A Gentleman.” As long as the pair are happy, then that is the most important thing.
