Alex Rodriguez has reportedly broken up from his girlfriend Kathryne Padgett.

The duo were first connected as an item when they were spotted at a Green Bay Packers game at the beginning of this year. This was then followed up by a relaxing vacation, as they enjoyed the sun in Italy on a yacht.
While that may have been the case, the duo were noticeably not together in the period shortly before the break-up was announced. Not only that, but Alex shared a post stating how he would be having ‘dinner for one.’
But even though the break-up has been confirmed, the two have remained on good terms. A source confirmed the following: “They’re good friends – they’re just each single. They broke up, but they’re super tight. It’s all good. Alex is having fun and hanging out with his family.”
Nevertheless, other sources claim that the relationship was not serious in the first place. It was simply designed to get to know each other on a casual basis. And if anything did end up happening, then that would be a natural consequence of the interactions.
And yet, there is no denying that Alex would like to settle down at some point. After having seen his relationship with ex Jennifer Lopez breakdown after rumours that they were considering getting married, he has now seen her move on by getting married to Ben Affleck.
Perhaps this is something Alex will be looking to do. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. A certain subset of people felt that Alex had to commit himself to someone eventually. One person wrote: “Isn’t he getting too old for this dating game?”
Time will tell how Alex moves forward from this, but given what we have seen so far, it is probably best that he takes some time out to decide what he wants from his life going forward.
