Alex Jones was on Joe Rogan’s podcast again, much to the chagrin of many people and Spotify employees. Jones has been a controversial figure in the media world and is mostly known as the conspiracy theory guy.

However, through his appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, people have gotten to see another side of Jones that admits when he’s wrong, pulls data straight from the top of his head that can be checked and most of the time he’s correct!

It looks like this life has begun taking a physical toll on Jones though, and he’s ready to start looking for an out. In his most recent episode with Rogan, he told him within a year he’d like to be done completely. Rogan asked him what he wants to do. Jones replied,

“I’d love to go hunting and fishing and hiking. Do oil painting and doing sculpture, I love metal sculpture.”

Jones has brought it up before in past conversations with Rogan, but he felt like he was being pulled back into the world after people kept throwing jabs at him. It made him feel like he had to fight back. Though with all his drinking, weight gain, and lack of sleep, Jones is feeling tired, unhealthy, and in need of time off or even retirement.

No matter what you think of Jones, agree, disagree, the attacks that he has put up with constantly (some deservedly so) would take an enormous toll on a person’s wellbeing.

I never use to be a fan of Jones, but the more I listened to him with Rogan and having the information be brought up as he was speaking about it off the top of his head was pretty mind-boggling. To say that Jones doesn’t research and read would be an understatement.

Though his style is unconventional and has stirred much controversy, he continues to have a booming fan base and one that may have to find another show to watch in the near future.
