Alec Baldwin’s daughter, Ireland Baldwin, has blasted Candace Owens about some remarks concerning her father in the prop gun shooting on the set of ‘Rust.’
Alec Baldwin’s Daughter Blasts Candace Owens For Stating That Her Father’s Gun Shooting Incident Was ‘Poetic Justice’
Alec, for his part, had fired a prop gun that ended up killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
Although Alec thought that the gun was unloaded, it did not stop Candace from suggesting that the actor had deserved what he got because of his prior condemnation for former US President Donald Trump.
In a tweet, which has now been removed, Candace said: “Alec Baldwin spent four years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers.
“What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren’t for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad.”
Quite rightly, Ireland was outraged by Candace’s comments. First of all, at a time when Alec is feeling distraught, it was very inappropriate to kick a man when he was down.
Secondly, Candace’s comments did not do anything to alleviate the pain that Halyna’s family were feeling. That is why she made sure that she let Candace know she was not having any of it.
In response to the tweet, she remarked: “You are the most disgusting, hateful, cancerous human being I’ve ever come across.
“Regardless of your foul opinions most of the time, the fact that you would disrespect the life of a woman who was accidentally and tragically killed….Shame on you.”
Candace did not lie down, however. She responded by stating that Alec had always been a powerful figure within the Hollywood industry and that she did not feel ashamed by calling him out.
In another post, Candace revealed: “I don’t feel bad for her psychopathic father. Feel bad for the victim, not Alec. He has always been a predator in Hollywood who was given a pass.”
There is still plenty more to come from this story, as the authorities will have to decide who was responsible. But as for Candace, she has already made her feelings pretty clear.
